Ensuring Transparency in the Textile Industry with Blockchain
This year, TRICK focused on enhancing sustainable practices in the industry through blockchain technology. The TRICK blockchain infrastructure, led by UBITECH, integrates Hyperledger Fabric and Quadrans blockchain, ensuring data integrity and transparency. This development is crucial in providing reliable, auditable transaction records and verifiable certificates like PCO certificates, reinforcing trust in data stored on the TRICK platform.
Security Broker Service: Managing Access to Production Data
Domina led the implementation of the Security Broker, a core component of the TRICK platform. This service ensures secure access to production data, managing authentication, authorization, and data privacy. The adoption of robust security measures like ACL and JWT tokens plays a vital role in enhancing platform security.
AI-Powered Anti-Counterfeiting Service
TRICK introduced an AI-driven Anti-Counterfeiting service to combat counterfeit textiles. This service focuses on controlling textile production declarations and utilizes advanced analysis techniques to ensure the authenticity and quality of textiles.

The PCO service helps companies in obtaining “Preferential Certification of Origin” by ensuring complete and secured production traceability. This is crucial for simplifying customs procedures and enhancing supply chain transparency.

The prestigious event brought together around 400 industry professionals and welcomed TRICK to showcase its innovative approach to Ecodesign and Digital Product Passport (DPP). The presentations highlighted the project's focus on traceability and circularity, fostering industry-wide discussions on sustainable practices.
- Spotlight on TRICK at ECOMONDO
ECOMONDO is the reference event in Europe for the ecological transition and the new models of circular and regenerative economy gathering more than 110,000 attendees in the last edition. It provided a platform for TRICK partners to disseminate project advancements. Workshops and presentations covered various aspects like the Digital Product Passport and the project's approach towards sustainability and circularity in the textile sector.
- ECOSYSTEX Conference
With 27 EU-funded member projects and over 200 partner organizations focusing on textile sustainability, ECOSYSTEX aims to accelerate collaboration in the textile sustainability and circularity fields. The event featured workshops and talks that fostered engagement among a diverse, multicultural audience. This gathering successfully brought together 100 participants from 16 different EU countries, facilitating rich, cross-cultural dialogue and collaboration.
TRICK hosted a workshop focusing on advancing traceability solutions in the textile value chain. Discussions centered around overcoming barriers to traceability and aligning with upcoming legislation like the DPP.
