SINTEF Manufacturing's role in the project includes the management of the work package about business model development, and the management of the tasks concerning the development of the roadmap from linear to circular value chains, Social-Life Cycle Assessment service, and exploitation strategy.
Apart from TRICK, SINTEF is involved in EU projects, such as Data4Zero and Quality (within digitally enhanced Zero-Defect Manufacturing), HARARE (Hydrogen-based metal recovery from waste), Lean 4.0 (digitally enhanced Lean within education), and BIMprove (climate-resilient digital transformation in the construction value chains). SINTEF Manufacturing also leads the Subgroup for Zero-defect Manufacturing for the factories of the future and is a member of the EFFRA network for Factory of the Future.
